This Tic-Tac-Toe Grammar Game gives students controlled yet creative speaking practice. If a student lands on «happy,» they must change it to «happily» and use it in a sentence (e.g., She danced happily at the party.). If correct, they mark the square with an X or O. If incorrect, the other team gets a chance to steal the square.
With 54 adverbs featured in the game, it’s perfect for reviewing word forms and sentence construction in a dynamic, communicative way. You’ll also find an optional adverbs writing homework sheet for additional practice.
