Adverbs of Manner Game

Level: This is most suited to A2-B1 level students but can also be used with strong A1 classes after studying adverbs of manner.

Time: 30 mins + 

This Adverbs of Manner ESL Game provides practice of adverbs formed from adjectives. The students can play in two teams or in groups.

They must create sentences by turning one of the adjectives into an adverb and combining it with one of the nouns and verb of their choice. There are various ways to play which are described in the teacher’s notes.
