Level:  This is most suited to B2 / C1  level students but can be used with extra support at B1 level.

Time:  1 hour 20 minutes + (depending on writing task).

This lesson prepares students for writing a film review. It includes conversation questions, focus on language for describing films, example reviews, focus on structuring a review, a categorising exercise for vocabulary and phrases for describing films, focus on language for giving opinions and making recommendations and a ‘write a film review’ task.

We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes, an answer key and a pronunciation guide) and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
