Slang and Colloquial Language

Level:  This is most suited to C1 / C2 level students.

Time:  1.5 hours + (depending on the writing/speaking task).

This lesson improves vocabulary in the areas of colloquial language and slang. It includes a reading, vocabulary focus and an expressions matching exercise. Additionally, there are conversation questions and an ‘invent your own story’ writing/speaking activity.

Some students may find the language used in this lesson mildly offensive or coarse. Always use your discretion when deciding if materials are suitable for your classes.
