Level: This is suited to A2 – C2 level students.

Time: 20 minutes – 1 hr + (depending on level and activity chosen).  

This scary story activity can be used in several ways to develop fluency or focus on particular grammar structures. Activities include writing stories, telling stories, and forming sentences. The cards include characters, locations, creatures and objects.

We recommend reading the Teacher’s Notes for task ideas. You can find these on the final 2 pages of the document. 

Not suitable for students under 15.
