Level: This is most suited to B1+ – C1- level students.

Time: 45 minutes + (depending on level).   

This British vs. American Vocabulary lesson includes conversation questions, 2 picture/vocabulary matching exercises, a task to revise the vocabulary and a speaking activity to practise the two forms. It focuses on 44 words which are different in British and American English. Be sure to download the teacher copy, which includes the cards for the matching exercise.

We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes, a pronunciation guide and an answer key) and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
