Level: This is suitable for A2-B1 level students.

Time: 1 hour +

This ‘Shapes Vocabulary’ ESL lesson plan begins with an picture-matching exercise for common shapes. Next, the students focus on the pronunciation of this vocabulary. Then the lesson focuses on shapes adjectives and changes in stress for these. Following this, the students do a task where they have to describe objects using shape adjectives and other descriptors. Finally, there are some conversation questions about shapes.

We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes and answers, and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
