Phrasal Verbs (Act or Explain)
somdn_product_pageThis basic phrasal verbs game focuses on 28 common phrasal verbs, including come in, fill in, get off, get on, get up, go out, look after, pick up, put down, put on, sit down, stand up, take off, turn off, turn on, and wake up. There is an optional phrasal verbs-to-image matching task followed by a game where students either act out or explain the phrasal verbs to their group.
We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes, an answer key, and a pronunciation guide) and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
Level: This is most suited to A1 – A2 level.
There are various ways in which you can adapt the game to make it suitable for the level of your students, and these are included in the teacher’s notes.
Time: 30 mins + (depending on level).
