Future Perfect Continuous Exercises for ESL Students

These future perfect continuous tense exercises help students understand when and how to use the future perfect continuous tense accurately. Learners practise forming the tense, choosing between the future perfect and future perfect continuous, identifying the correct future tense in context, and producing their own sentences.

1. Complete the sentences

Students complete sentences using the correct form of the future perfect continuous tense.

2. Future Perfect or Future Perfect Continuous?

Learners choose the correct tense to complete each sentence and reinforce the difference between the two forms.

3. Choose the correct future tense

Students select the correct answer from four future tenses, developing a deeper understanding of meaning and usage.

4. Create your own sentences

Students write original sentences using the future perfect continuous in realistic contexts.

This is a fantastic website and the worksheets scaffold the teaching points very well. But there are two things that I find to be a small irritant. When I put in a specific search e.g. second conditional - it includes worksheets not related to that search. The other thing is that I am a paid subscriber but often a pop up box appears asking me to review the free resources. I have to keep closing the pop up box which is annoying.
