Past Simple Practice

somdn_product_page

This past simple speaking activity uses a Find Someone Who format to help A1–A2 learners practise asking and answering questions about past events in a structured, communicative way.

Students move around the class (or work in breakout rooms) asking past simple questions, noting answers, and following up where possible. The activity supports accurate use of regular and irregular past simple forms while keeping speaking purposeful and manageable for lower-level learners.

Pair this resource with our other past simple ESL activities for extra practice and recycling.
