Level:  This is most suited to B1 / B2 level students.

Time: 1 hour, 15 mins + (depending on level)  

This Celebrations around the World lesson includes a gap-fill reading on 4 festivals (Mardi Gras, Oktoberfest, La Tomatina, and The Gloucester Cheese Rolling Festival). It then continues with vocabulary focus, including definition and collocations matching. Finally the students conduct research and do a mini presentation on a celebration/festival from their country or another they have attended.

We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes, a pronunciation guide and an answer key) and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
