Time: 2 hrs +
This Politics in the United States ESL Lesson Plan starts with a vocabulary matching exercise to revise common vocabulary related to politics and conversation task. Next there is a reading comprehension on the political system in the USA followed by exercises focusing on vocabulary, and collocations in the text. Finally, the students either do a mini-presentation or a writing task explaining how politics and government works in their country.
We have a teacher’s copy (including teacher’s notes, answers, and a pronunciation guide) and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
