This Present Simple or Present Continuous worksheet includes revision on the uses of each tense and a gap-fill exercise where the students must decide between the present simple and present continuous. It covers practice of the present simple for habits, general truths or facts, present states, permanent situations, and scheduled future events and the present continuous for something in progress at the moment of speaking, temporary situations, and future arrangements.
