Summer Idioms ESL Lesson Overview
1. Learn Summertime Expressions in Context
Students read a series of example sentences and short dialogues featuring summertime expressions such as a ray of sunshine, a summer fling, an Indian summer, and make hay while the sun shines. They use the context to infer the meaning of each phrase.
