This Mixed Tenses & Modals (Speaking Task) includes conversation questions to provide practice of various tenses and modal verbs.

The tenses covered are present simple and continuous, past simple and continuous, future forms (will and going to), present perfect simple and continuous, the first and second conditional, modals of obligation and permission (must, have to, etc.), and modals of advice (should, could, etc).

It’s a great activity for revising B1-level grammar and can also be used as a level-assessment tool.

We have a teacher’s copy including and answer key and a student version which you can email to your class for online lessons.
